Senior Sales & Business Development Lead

Role profile

This role is responsible for senior-level sales, business development and opportunity management across Artefaktum’s advisory, cyber security, defence, intelligence and programme delivery portfolio. The position requires a proven ability to identify qualified opportunities, build trusted relationships, manage complex sales cycles and translate client needs into structured commercial opportunities.

Required capabilities

  • Minimum 5 years of proven senior sales or business development experience
  • Documented track record in B2B, advisory, technology, security, defence or complex project sales
  • Ability to open doors, build trust and manage senior stakeholder relationships
  • Experience developing qualified pipelines, proposals and opportunity strategies
  • Strong understanding of consultative selling, strategic account development and long-cycle sales
  • Excellent written and spoken communication in English; German or Spanish is an advantage
  • High level of discretion, integrity and professional judgement in sensitive client environments
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setup while maintaining disciplined reporting and follow-up

Preferred profile

  • Existing network in defence, security, cyber security, critical infrastructure or regulated industries
  • Experience working with founders, executive leadership or senior decision-makers
  • Familiarity with European defence, technology or security markets
  • Comfortable operating from or regularly coordinating with Las Palmas / Gran Canaria
