We are looking for a senior subject-matter expert with deep professional experience in military laser systems, laser range-finding and laser-enabled weapon-system environments. The role supports technical assessment, requirements definition, integration questions and informed decision-making across complex defence programmes.
What you will do
- Provide senior technical advice on laser, laser range-finding and related defence-system technologies.
- Support requirements analysis, capability assessment and system-level technical evaluation.
- Assess interfaces between laser subsystems, sensors, fire-control functions, platforms and wider mission systems.
- Contribute to technology due diligence, procurement support and technical supplier evaluation.
- Support test, evaluation, qualification and acceptance planning from a systems perspective.
- Translate complex technical matters into clear decision support for programme, engineering and executive stakeholders.
What you bring
- Substantial professional experience with military laser technology, laser range-finding systems or closely related electro-optical defence systems.
