News from the Board Room
Jürgen Jakobs, former Chief of Police of the Federal State of Brandenburg confirmed as a new member of the Management Board of Artefaktum. Mr. Jakobs will take over the authorized representation for inquiries and coordination of the cooperation with the D-A-CH law enforcement agencies from Sept 1 2022 on.

Launch of the new Online Community
For a long time, victims of crime have been asking Artefaktum for a reliable and secure way to exchange information with other victims of fraud or economic crimes. All too often, “asset recovery”, “money back” and similar sites and blogs are run by reverse scammers who then financially harm the victims one more time and grab data. Therefore, the Board has agreed to support the funding of the Fraudster.info project.

From Aug 15, 2022, Artefaktum opens another office in Hamburg, Germany for victims of fraud, cyber or economic crimes, and inquiries and coordination of investigations for Germany and Austria. The head of the office will be Sven Hammerschmidt.
